The KAUST Earth Science and Engineering (ErSE) Program recently honored five of its most outstanding students with the ErSE Dean's Award 2022 for their exceptional academic and research achievements. The five students were presented with their award certificates by Dean of the PSE Division Professor Ravi Samtaney and ErSE Program Chair Professor Sigurjón Jónsson during the ErSE end-of-semester beach BBQ on Tuesday, May 17. The award also includes a one-time $2,500 cash prize.

 

KAUST is celebrating its Dean's awards ceremony for the first time this year to recognize outstanding students in each program.

“I cannot think of a better way of finishing the academic year than recognizing our best Ph.D. students with the ErSE Program Dean’s Award,” said Professor Jónsson. 

 

The five ErSE Program Dean’s Award awardees were:
