The KAUST community can now enjoy the latest in shopping convenience right on the campus doorstep.
A hectic day, no time to stop, but you can’t ignore your grumbling stomach any longer. Can’t face the queues at the Diner, why not treat yourself to the latest in food convenience at KAUST?
It is with great excitement that the KAUST Physical Science and Engineering Division, in collaboration with KAUST Community Life, announces the opening of the University’s newest facility, KartNGo.
Whether you need a quick snack or a wholesome meal, KAUSTians can now enjoy the ease of smart technology and contactless payment at the new KAUST KartNGo store.
Located in Building 9 (Bldg. 9), the store is a cashless, self-service micro store that provides a modern and efficient take on the traditional shopping experience. With a wide selection of high-quality snacks, nutritional brands, healthy food, and more, the store is the new go-to option for KAUSTians’ snack and lunch needs.
“The new KartNGo store allows us the option and convenience to grab a quick sandwich or salad without the hassle of going to the Campus Diner,” says Linda J. Sapolu, the Graduate Program Student Advisor for Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Students (PSE). “Of course, we all get that mid-afternoon craving, so what a great option for anyone who enters our building to have. I would like to encourage my fellow KAUSTians to come and experience KartNGo in Building 9.”
According to Sapolu, the KartNGo store was set up in response to the high volume of students and staff entering Building 9 daily.
“Many people on-campus are unaware that Building 9 is constantly buzzing with students, staff and visitors,” she notes. “We would like to start putting it on the map as a place of importance in the KAUST community, and, most importantly, all of us can now enjoy the latest in trendy convenience.“
