2021 Highly Cited Researchers Announced
Researchers across the world eagerly anticipate the launch of the Highly Cited Researchers list each year. A highly cited researcher is an author of highly cited papers, as demonstrated by the Web of Science citation index.
Web of Science presents the list recognizing research scientists who have demonstrated significant and broad influence in a chosen field or fields by publishing multiple papers – highly cited by their peers – during the past decade.
The highly cited papers are those publications that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science.
