​Twenty-eight students from the mechanical engineering program recently attended a social event organized by the program at the IN10SO Center in Jeddah.

"Students in our academic programs often work in very diverse research areas and rarely have the opportunity to interact" said Mechanical Engineering Program Director, Professor Aamir Farooq.

To address this issue and create more of a 'sense of community' amongst the program's students, he enlisted the help of the program's GPC Emmanuelle Sougrat to help organize the event and the Dean of PSE, Professor Yves Gnanou, to sponsor it.

The IN10SO Center has a large range of activities.  Students got to try their hand at karting, laser tag, bowling, billiards, archery, arcade games and much more.

A great time was had by all and the Students are very thankful to everyone involved for their efforts.  They hope that this kind of event will become a regular occurrence for the program in the future.
