Abstract:

  • Mathematica is a state-of-the-art computer algebra system. The course will provide a crash course in basic Mathematica syntax and then proceed to consider applications to physical science problems using advanced mathematics at the graduate level.
  • Students will receive hands-on practical training in using this complex but extremely powerful and versatile software tool. Some of the topics will include:
  • In our second meeting we will discuss graphics, differential equations, multiline functions and programming
  • Materials are available at /https://koral.community
  • Search for Mathematica then use course code FePrEM
  • Please bring your laptop computer to do hands on exercises
  • New attendees are welcome
