Associate Professor, Department of Robotics and Mechatronics - AGH University of Science and Technology
PhD. DSc. Krzysztof MENDROK
is an Associate Professor in the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics of the AGH University of Science and Technology. He is interested in the development and application of various SHM algorithms. He mainly deals with low-frequency vibration-based methods for damage detection and inverse dynamic problem for excitation identification. One technique recently developed is the use of spatial filtration in structural health control and monitoring.
He received his PhD in 2003 for the thesis “Application of TPA algorithms to the identification of excitation forces”. He received his habilitation (DSc.) in 2012 for his work on the application of the inverse problem in structural health monitoring.
Currently, he is the dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics of the AGH University of Science and Technology and the chairman of the scientific discipline board of mechanical engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology. He is a member of the board of the Polish Society of Technical Diagnostics.
