Student Ambassadors

Why wait to start your network at KAUST?

Are you thinking about studying at KAUST, but you'd like to connect with a real student about his or her experiences here? The PSE Student Ambassadors (PSA) come from across the globe and are a group of graduate students and research interns from among the programs and centers in the Physical Science and Engineering Division at KAUST. The aim of the Student Ambassador program is to promote the offerings in PSE and at KAUST, as well as to ease the transition of new students and interns to studying, researching and living at KAUST. The PSA are bringing together Saudi and international students to make a truly multicultural and thriving student community in the PSE Division.

Student-to-student advice about Studying and Researching in the PSE Division and Living at KAUST.

Our Student Ambassadors want to help you learn more about KAUST from their experiences and perspectives. As a group of volunteer students, they offer student-to-student advice and can help answer any questions as you start your KAUST journey. Student Ambassadors are available via email to talk, answer questions, and share their KAUST experiences with you.

Please connect with one of our PSE Student Ambassadors to learn more about studying in the PSE Division and student life on campus. You can read their profiles here to learn more about our Student Ambassadors and why they chose KAUST.

Support for settling into your new life in the PSE Division and at KAUST: PSE Student Ambassador Buddy Program

To make the first semester easier for our admitted students, we offer the option to connect   with a buddy from among our PSE Student Ambassadors. The Student Ambassadors offer their assistance as a buddy to help new students in their transition to PSE and KAUST both academically and socially. If possible, we will match you with a Student Ambassador from your program of studies, in order to offer the best support.

Our Student Ambassadors can also provide advice on everyday issues such as shopping facilities or buying a mobile phone, as well as offer tips on how to spend your spare time depending on your interests. Over the course of the semester, you can turn to your buddy whenever you have a question.

Please email us at to request a buddy. If you have a particular preference for a buddy of the same gender or someone who speaks your native language, please let us know.
